هل العلماء أجمعوا على احترام الرأي الآخر؟ – فتوى لشيخنا الوالد صالح بن فوزان الفوزان

أحسن الله إليكم صاحب الفضيلة ، هذا سائل يقول : لقد كتب رجلٌ مقالاً فقال : أجمع العلماء على احترام الرأي الآخر، فهل هذا القول صحيح ، وهل الإجماع معتبر؟

الجواب : هذا إجماعه هو ، هذا إجماعه هو ، أما العلماء ما أجمعوا ، هذا كذب على العلماء ، أجمعوا على احترام الحق ، العلماء أجمعوا على احترام الحق كما قام عليه الدليل ، أما ماخالف الدليل فإنه مرفوض ولو كان رأياً آخر . نعم .

The questioner asks: A man said in an article he wrote: The scholars are in agreement on respecting the other opinion. Is this statement correct, and is this a considerable consensus?

Answer: This is his own consensus. [I repeat] This is his own consensus. The scholars are unanimous [on this statement nor did they even say it].  This is a lie on behave of the scholars. They [the scholars] agreed to respect the truth.  The scholars agreed to respect the truth which has an evidence.  As for the one who opposes the evidence, his statement is unacceptable, even if it was a different opinion. Yes.
